On Tuesday, 17th September, we hosted our third annual Charity Golf Day at the stunning Welcombe Golf Club in Stratford-upon-Avon. The day was filled with great golf, camaraderie, and the spirit of giving, all in support of LoveBrum, a charity that funds grassroots projects across Birmingham.

LoveBrum is a cause we proudly stand behind, and we’re thrilled to have so many supporters join us in raising significant funds for their vital community work. The event tee’d off with full English breakfast before a round of 18 holes on the club’s championship-standard course, followed by evening entertainment from Edward Crawford and Alleigha Franklin. We also held a raffle and an auction, where attendees had the chance to bid on some incredible prizes.
We want to extend a special thank you to QuickBooks, our headline sponsor for the event. Not only did they provide top-notch merchandise for the goody bags, but they also donated a signed West Ham football shirt, which was one of the highlights of our auction. Their generous support has been crucial to the success of the day, and we are deeply grateful for their ongoing partnership.
Alongside QuickBooks, we had the immense support of several other businesses whose contributions were key to raising funds for LoveBrum. We’d like to thank ID Property Developments for being the Refreshment Sponsors and keeping everyone hydrated on the course; Molloy & Co Associates for sponsoring the Longest Drive; Peak Life Financial Planning for sponsoring the live scoring app plus Green Ape Media, Tinker Taylor and TSR Electrical for being hole sponsors.
We are also incredibly grateful to all the businesses that donated prizes for both the raffle and the auction – Birmingham City Football Club, Northampton Town Football Club, Redditch United Football Club, Ocean Outdoor, The Welcombe Hotel and ABC Boat Hire. Their generosity helped to raise even more funds for LoveBrum and the range of prizes made the event memorable and added excitement for all attendees.
A huge thank you also goes out to Ady Wheatcroft from ACE Golf Challenge, whose ongoing involvement has made a real difference to the success of the event. Ady has helped us run the event smoothly year after year and brings a fun element with his Beat the Pro challenge, which has become a favourite among participants. We look forward to working with him again next year.

Of course, this event wouldn’t have been possible without the hospitality of The Welcombe Golf Club. A huge thank you to Ben and the team for all their help before and during the event.
As we look ahead, we’re already excited for next year’s Charity Golf Day. This event has become a highlight in our calendar, and it’s amazing to see it grow every year. Thank you again to all our sponsors, participants, and supporters for making this day such a success. We can’t wait to see you all on the course next year!
